Olive Oil - the liquid gold

Olive oil was already used as a beauty product thousands of years ago by inhabitants of the Mediterranean region. It was one of the favorite products of the beautiful Cleopatra. The ancient Greeks also called olive oil liquid gold, because it could be used for everything and was very valuable. There was even a penalty for cutting down olive trees!

It's not surprising that olive oil is so good for your skin, as it's full of antioxidants, including vitamins A and E, which are known to provide smooth skin and prevent premature skin aging. A special type of antioxidant, hydroxytyrosol, is present in large quantities particularly in good quality olive oil. This substance protects very effectively and purifies the skin.

Use

Apply olive oil to clean skin, directly after showering or cleansing when your skin is still slightly damp. This way the olive oil can beautifully ensure that your skin retains moisture well and stays hydrated. Apply where needed; on your body or a little bit on your face, possibly after applying a moisturizer.

Olive oil can also be used as a hair mask for wonderfully soft hair. Apply a tablespoon of olive oil to damp hair and let it work for 15-20 minutes. Then wash your hair with shampoo.
