Wild harvested and distilled at François's farm in Portugal. Every harvest is unique, every batch analysed, and every composition openly shared with you.

Based on GC-FID/MS analysis by Esseterre Bulgaria (2026), specialised in essential oil analysis.
The largest fraction of this oil. Adds a soft pine undertone beneath the floral-herbaceous main character, very different from the sweet-herbaceous profile of the Italian variety. It evaporates fairly quickly, allowing the warmer undertones to come forward afterwards.
A soft, sunny citrus layer beneath the main character. Not sharp or acidic, but mild and Mediterranean. Much more noticeable than in Italian helichrysum, where citrus notes are almost absent.
A sesquiterpene with a warm, balsamic character that adds depth. Together with traces of bergamotene and caryophyllene, it creates the soft warmth beneath the fresh, herbaceous main character.
Based on François's story
When François began clearing the land for rosemary, helichrysum appeared naturally between the rows. A gift from nature. By carefully observing which plants thrive where, he gives each species the space it needs. The flowers are hand-harvested at the moment they are richest in oil.

The flowering tops go into the still on the very same day, right on the farm. The remaining plant material is composted and returned to the soil. The plant feeds the ground that allows the next generation of plants to grow.

Every batch is sent to Esseterre Bulgaria for GC-FID/MS analysis. This tells us exactly which compounds are present and at what concentration. An oil whose composition you can verify.

No middlemen, no long storage chains. The oil goes directly from the farm to Natural Heroes. You know exactly where the oil comes from and who made it.

The Farm to Table range includes six organic essential oils. Discover them here:
Warm, ambery and herbaceous with a bitter edge. Astringent on the skin and a classic in natural perfumery.
Warm, herbaceous and honey-sweet, very different from regular lavender. Reminiscent of dried lavender in the sun.
Herbaceous and softly floral with a warm, gently citrusy undertone and a hint of pine. Quite different from the Italian Helichrysum italicum.
Warm and herbaceous, like a field of rosemary in the sun. Gives the scalp a fresh boost and blends easily with almost any other oil.
Refreshing, crisp and beautifully rounded. Not as sharp as common eucalyptus, but an oil that wakes up your senses instantly.
Surprisingly fresh and eucalyptus-like, without the sharp thymol of common thyme. Blends beautifully with almost all other oils.

Start with a small amount and build up gradually — Helichrysum diffuses a powerful scent. Follow the instructions of your diffuser.
Essential oils should always be diluted in a carrier oil or base formula. For general skincare, use a maximum of 1% in a carrier oil. For fragrance applications on smaller skin areas (wrists, neck) you can use higher percentages. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
Do not use on babies and children under 6 years of age. During pregnancy or breastfeeding, consult your midwife or doctor first. Perform a patch test if you have sensitive skin. The oil naturally contains limonene, a known allergen. Keep pets away from the diffuser.
With 19% limonene, this batch has a soft citrus layer. The main character remains herbal and gently floral, supported by alpha-pinene (68%) which provides the pine undertone. The profile varies with each harvest and season — which is exactly what makes Farm to Table so special.
Wild-harvested Helichrysum has a naturally varying composition from harvest to harvest and season to season. Plantation oil is more uniform and less expensive, but lacks that seasonal signature. We love the difference — that's what Farm to Table is all about.
Because it's the honest way to be transparent about what's inside a bottle. At Natural Heroes, we believe you as a customer deserve access to the same information we have. That's why Farm to Table is an open book — from plant to bottle.
The Alentejo is dry, warm and sunny — exactly the growing conditions that result in a high concentration of volatile aroma compounds. Different soils produce different compositions. Mértola gives the characteristic Helichrysum Stoechas profile with that herbal, gently floral character and a soft citrus layer.
In the heart of the Alentejo, the dry south of Portugal, lies the farm. All six oils grow here in the wild. No greenhouses, no irrigation, no artificial fertilisers. That's why each oil smells slightly different every season. That's what Farm to Table is all about.
