What is Anise Essential Oil?

The licorice-like scent of Anise Essential Oil works uplifting and refreshing. The aroma helps you breathe more freely again and the oil soothes and relaxes the muscles.

Anise Essential Oil is obtained through steam distillation of anise seeds (pimpinella anisum). Anise Essential Oil is not the same as Star Anise Essential Oil (illicium verum), which is obtained from the seeds of the Chinese magnolia tree.
