Monoï de Tahiti "sacred oil from Tahiti" has a history as rich as its scent and finds its origin in French Polynesia. Monoï oil has been produced for 2000 years because of its special characteristics. In French Polynesia the oil is sacred and is used for both skin and hair.
Official original designation
Monoï de Tahiti Oil is produced through a complex method, Enfleurage, by macerating the indigenous flower Tiare Tahiti (Gardenia Tahitensis) in locally harvested coconut oil. The coconuts used for this must be harvested on coral soil from French Polynesia. Only then does the oil receive the official designation of Origin. The Monoï de Tahiti Oil from Natural Heroes is produced in French Polynesia, contains 99% Monoï de Tahiti, carries the official designation of Origin and is free from parabens.
Difference with Monoï de Tahiti (100% Pure & Natural)?
The 99% Monoï de Tahiti contains 1% synthetic fragrance. The 100% natural Monoï gets its scent because the flowers are infused in the coconut oil.
Use
Skin
Monoï de Tahiti has a soothing, calming and purifying effect on the skin and provides long-lasting hydration. You can use Monoï oil as body oil, bath oil, massage oil and as after-sun care after sunbathing. The oil leaves a delicious tropical floral scent on your skin.
Hair
Monoï de Tahiti is wonderful for your hair. The oil provides beautiful shine and reduces frizz and static hair. The deeply hydrating oil helps with damaged hair, can reduce hair breakage by 96% and provides better hair elasticity. Apply a little melted Monoï to dry hair as a hair mask or conditioner, let it work for a moment and then wash your hair with shampoo.
Tip
Like many natural oils, Monoï de Tahiti becomes solid below a certain temperature (24º). To make the oil liquid, you can hold the jar under the warm tap for a moment. By putting the Monoï de Tahiti in the refrigerator, it will return to its solid form. Because the Monoï de Tahiti can melt in the jar, the substance may look uneven.
