What is Maca Powder?
Maca Powder (Lepidium meyenii or Peruvian Ginseng), is a tuber similar to radish and turnip and grows in the Andes mountains in Peru at about 4000 meters altitude. Because the plant is exposed to intense weather conditions and temperature fluctuations at that height, it needs many nutrients to survive. Nutrients that can all be found in Maca Powder.
