Make sure all your supplies and equipment are ready and that everything has been cleaned. Make sure your stove and pan are ready if you do not have a hot plate.

Measure out all your ingredients. Combine each phase in a separate heat-resistant container/beaker.

Note the weight of Phase B, including the container, so that we can top up the evaporated water after heating.

Heat Phase A and B together until both are at 70 degrees Celsius.

Measure Phase B and add water up to the weight noted earlier. Once the temperature is equal in all phases, turn off the heat.

Carefully pour Phase B into Phase A and stir until it is well mixed.

Pour Phase C followed by Phase D into the bulk of the formula. Stir carefully until it is well mixed.

When the temperature reaches 40 degrees Celsius, gently stir in Phase E and Phase F. Mix until you reach room temperature.

Measure the pH. Adjust with a Baking Soda solution or Citric Acid solution if needed until the desired pH of 4-4.5 is reached.

Leave it in the beaker overnight. Cover with a reusable cloth or cling film.

Stir well before pouring it into a squeeze or pump bottle and label your creation.

Usage

Use the Body Conditioner in the same way as a regular conditioner, after washing! Wash your body with shower gel and rub the dry areas with the Body Conditioner while the skin is still wet, let it absorb for a moment and rinse it off. To lock in the moisture, rub the still-damp skin with body lotion.
