What is Roman Chamomile Water (Hydrosol)?

Chamomile Water or hydrosol remains after making Chamomile Essential Oil, through the steam distillation of Chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile). Hydrosols have a much milder effect than essential oils and therefore have broad applicability.

Due to the mild, caring effect of chamomile, Chamomile Water is ideal for red and sensitive skin. Use as a toner or place a clean cloth, soaked in chamomile water on the irritated skin for deep care and hydration.
