Sensitive Body Cleanser

Mild, neutral and for sensitive skin. A cleanser for the whole family, by request of the NH Community! With natural ingredients such as chamomile water and rose water, whose bisabolol content has a soothing, strengthening and calming effect on the skin. Sebum production is also brought into balance by it. The Coco Glucoside in this cleanser provides a mild cleansing, foams nicely and is suitable for sensitive skin.


As a tribute to the mothers in the Community with an all-male household, the Sensitive Body Cleanser has a light blue colour. Perfect for the boys too! The essential oil is optional and you can add it for extra scent.

Weigh out all the ingredients neatly and set them ready before you begin.

Add the glycerine and xanthan gum together and set aside to thicken.

Add demineralised water together with the chamomile water and rose water.

Add the gum mixture together with the water mix.

Add the mica powder to the Coco Glucoside and add this mixture to the water mix as well. Stir carefully to prevent foaming.

Measure the pH to make sure it is within the correct barrier for the skin and the chosen preservative (between 5 and 5.5). Is it not between 5 and 5.5? Then use a citric acid mixture to lower the pH and a baking soda mixture to raise it.

Add the preservative Preservative 1388 ECO.

Pour the mixture into a glass bottle with a dispenser and label your homemade Sensitive Body Cleanser. (TIP: if you want more foam, the Coco Glucoside can be raised to 30% of the recipe. The increased percentage can be taken from the distilled water or the hydrosols.)
