Measure out all your ingredients. Combine each phase separately in beakers or bowls.

Pour phase B into phase A. Stir gently until it is well mixed.

Slowly add phase C to the bulk of the mixture and stir gently to avoid too many bubbles.

Add phase D. Stir until it is well mixed.

Measure the pH and correct it with a citric acid solution to lower it. Make sure it is between 5 and 5.5.

Leave it to stand overnight so that the gum can fully hydrate.

Stir before you pour it into a squeeze or pump bottle. Stick a label on your creation!
