What is Elderflower Water?

Elderflower Water is a Hydrosol obtained through steam distillation of the flowers of the French Sambucus, or common elder.

The flowers of the elder are small, white and have a strong fragrance, therefore creating a wonderful aroma.

Due to the scent and healing properties, you can use Elderflower Water for everything. Add a subtle fragrance to your DIY product or use it pure as a face & body mist!

The elderflower contains many different flavonoids such as quercetin, other antioxidants and vitamins and therefore has an anti-inflammatory as well as restorative effect.

What are the benefits of Elderflower Water?

What is so special about Elderflower Water?

That Elderflower Water is healthy was already known in the past. The elder was then also called 'the miracle tree' because you could use it for everything.
