Measure out all your ingredients. Combine each phase in a separate heatproof container/beaker

Note the weight of phase A including the container so that we can top up the evaporated water after heating.

Prepare your stove/pan or hotplate. Heat phases A and C.

When phase C has melted and both have already reached 70-75 degrees Celsius, measure phase A and add more water until you reach the weight noted before heating.

Put phase A back on the pot or hotplate. Pour phase C into A. Mix thoroughly with a spatula or pulse 5 times with a stick blender until it emulsifies.

Turn off the heat. Pour in phase B. Mix until it is well combined.

Remove from the pan or hotplate. Keep mixing until it cools.

When the temperature reaches 40 degrees Celsius, add phase D and then phase E. Mix until it is thoroughly combined.

Measure the pH and adjust with a base or acid until you reach pH 5.5 to 5.00.

Transfer it into a jar or a pump bottle. Store in a cool, dry place.
