How does it work?
Thank you for your order at Natural Heroes! We are glad you chose our natural cosmetics. Whether you are new to the world of DIY skincare or already have experience with our natural products, we are here to help you get the most out of your purchase. Here you will find a handy explanation of how to use our products and what you can do with them!
Many of our oils, hydrosols and butters are suitable for direct use on the skin. Here are some ways you can apply them.

Perfect as a refreshing toner or facial spray. Use after cleansing your skin for a gentle, soothing boost.
For the skin
Spray directly onto the skin as a toner after cleansing, or use as a refreshing spray throughout the day.
For the hair
Use as a hairspray or hair mist. Allow to absorb for a moment and style your hair as usual.

Use as a nourishing moisturiser, as a serum for the face, or as day and night care.
For the skin
Apply a few drops to your face, neck or body. Gently rub the oil in until fully absorbed. For extra hydration, you can apply the oil when the skin is still slightly damp (for example, by using a hydrosol first).
For the hair
Use as a serum: massage a few drops of oil into the ends and then distribute through the lengths.
As a hair mask: Massage a generous amount of oil into the hair and leave on for 1 hour to overnight. Then rinse out with your natural shampoo.

Plant-based butters have intensely hydrating properties.
For the skin
Warm a small amount of butter between your hands until it melts, then apply it to your skin.
For your hair
Apply a small amount to dry and damaged hair. Start at the ends and then work through the lengths for intense hydration.

Note: Essential oils should never be applied undiluted to the skin. Always dilute them in a carrier oil or base product (use a maximum of 1%).
For the skin
Add a maximum of 1% to a carrier oil or incorporate into a DIY. Then massage the mixture into the skin.
For the hair
Add a maximum of 1% to a carrier oil or incorporate into a DIY. Then use as a serum or hair mask.
In a diffuser
Add a few drops to your diffuser, combine different scents and create your unique fragrance.

A Hydrosol is the pure, watery product that results from distillation. They still have the scent of the flowers that were distilled, but much less intense than the flower itself or the Essential oil that was extracted from it.

Whether you have oily skin, dry skin, sensitive skin, mature skin, combination skin, or skin with impurities, there is a suitable oil for every skin type. The oils are pressed from the nuts or seeds of a plant.

Butters are derived from the seeds, nuts, or fruits of plants and are known for their rich texture and high concentration of vitamins, fatty acids, and antioxidants.

Essential oils contain the "chi" of plants, or the life energy. The aromatherapeutic effect of each Essential oil is unique.
