Instructions
Bring water to the boil in a pan and hang a melting pan in it or place a measuring beaker in it. Have some water left over? Then make yourself a nice cup of tea too.
Set out all the ingredients and make sure you have a scale next to you.
We are going to work with Cocofoam. If this becomes airborne it can seriously irritate the airways. You would therefore do well to work in a ventilated area and wear a dust mask.
Put on your dust mask and weigh the Cocofoam into the bowl. Add the Dead Sea Salt and the Baking Soda to this and stir well. Then set the bowl aside.
Melt the menthol crystals in a melting pan or measuring beaker by hanging/placing them in the warm water in your pan.
Weigh out the Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside and add the Orange, May Chang, Rosemary, Vitamin E and the Rosemary Antioxidant to this.
Add the melted Menthol crystals to the liquid mixture as well and stir well.
Now add the liquid scented mixture to the dry salt and stir well.
Now also add the Calendula and Jojoba Oil. Mix until the salt grains glisten slightly.
Let the mixture stand open for 1-2 hours so that the oils absorb well. Then pack it in a beautiful 500ml preserving jar and stick a nice label on it.
Usage
Fill a bucket that both your feet fit into with nice warm/hot water. Add 1 generous scoop of foot bath crystals to this and stir well. Breathe in the scent and feel your body relax. Turn inward and feel the warmth of your feet rising up to your body. Thank your feet for carrying you every day and breathe deeply in through your nose and out through your mouth. Enjoy this little moment for yourself.
