MCT oil for hydration, soothing and restoration. And the glycolic acid content of cane sugar which helps protect the skin against harmful toxins and ensures the removal of dead skin cells.

Weigh out all the ingredients neatly.

Heat the MCT oil, Olivem 1000 and cetyl alcohol together au bain-marie until it has melted.

Add the crabwood oil to the melted butter mixture. Place the mixture in an ice bath and mix immediately with a mixer until it is a white fluffy mixture.

Let the mixture cool down further to below 40 °C. Then add the vitamin E oil, essential oil and mica powder.

If you are worried about the water that may get into it, 1% preservative can be added to the scrub to protect it against yeasts, moulds and bacteria. We recommend Preservative Eco for this, because of its good protection against these intruders.

Then add the cane sugar and mix thoroughly.

Transfer the scrub to a glass jar and wait 24 hours to let the scrub thicken and reach its final consistency.
