Soothing Oat Body Wash Bar

With our Eternal Wash Bar you give your skin a deep, mild cleanse and fully refresh the senses. The nourishing combination of oatmeal and cocoa butter softens and cares for your skin, while sandalwood and eucalyptus oil provide a wonderful, fresh scent experience. Thanks to the mild, plant-based soap substances based on coconut, this bar is gentle on the skin, and lasts much longer than a standard bottle of shower gel.

Instructions

Get the following ready before you start: a saucepan with a melting pot or a heating plate with a measuring beaker, a large mixing bowl, a spatula and a spoon, a face mask, gloves and safety goggles (optional).

Bring water to the boil in a heavy-bottomed pan and place the measuring beaker in it, or hang a melting pot in it

Melt the cocoa butter from Phase A

Add the Cocamidopropyl Betaine and Coco Glucoside from Phase B to the melted cocoa butter and heat briefly along with it

Put on your face mask and, if you like, your safety goggles.

Put the warm mixture into a large bowl and add the Cocofoam and Greenfoam from Phase C. This stuff clouds up a lot, so protect yourself well!

Now add the Cambrian blue clay and the oat powder from Phase C.

Finally, add the Morning Breeze blend from Phase D.

Knead everything well with your hands.

Are you finding the kneading a bit difficult? Then warm your hands with warm water and pat them dry before continuing to knead.

Press the dough flat in the mixing bowl and continue kneading it with your hands until everything is well combined and a firm blue ball of dough forms.

Scrape the leftovers out of the bowl with your hands or a spoon.

Roll the dough into a sausage and break it into two equal pieces.

Wash your hands with warm water.

Ok, now we are going to knead the body wash bar into a nice shape

Knead the pieces of dough well once more and roll them into balls.

Press the balls flat and shape them into 2 round flat body wash bars of approx. 2 cm thick.

Do you have a nice silicone mould at home? Then you can also choose to put the dough into it to make a nice shape.

Place the bars on a small plate and let them cure in a cool and dry place (room temperature) for 2 to 3 days before using them.

After 3 days the bars should be completely hard. Test this by pressing on them with your finger. If they are nice and hard, they are ready to use!

Make sure that after each use you rinse the bar briefly with water and place it on a rack to dry. This way the bar lasts longest.
