What is GreenFoam powder?

GreenFoam powder belongs to the anionic surfactants, also called surfactants. This means that GreenFoam powder is a cleansing agent, which easily loosens sebum, dead skin cells, sweat and other dirt. This makes it ideal for normal to oily hair, or oily skin. GreenFoam powder is also sulfate-free and biodegradable. The official name of GreenFoam is C14-C16 Olefin Sulfonate.

How is GreenFoam made?

The official name of GreenFoam is: Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate. It is made from the C14 and C16 long fatty acid chains of coconut oil. These fatty acid chains are then processed through sulfonation into powder. Fun fact: MCT Oil is also derived from coconut oil, but from the medium-chain fatty acids C8-C10.

GreenFoam powder can be used alone or together with other surfactants and you can make the most beautiful Shampoo Bars, Face Bars or Body Wash Bars with it. But you can also make liquid shampoos and shower gels with it. A super versatile product indeed!

Dosage:

• Shampoo bars: 30-80%

• Liquid soap: 1-5%
