Remove stubborn make-up residue and dirt with this easy-to-make Aloe and Clay Balm Cleanser. This cleanser is suitable for all skin types. Kaolin and French Green Clay gently exfoliate the skin and help to remove impurities. Kukui Oil helps to restore the skin barrier, and Aloe Vera Powder intensely hydrates and nourishes the skin. A lovely cleanser for moisture-deprived skin!

Make sure all your tools and equipment are ready and ensure that everything is disinfected.

Bring water to the boil in a heavy-bottomed pan or use a hotplate.

Sieve Phase B with a fine sieve before combining it with Phase A.

Heat until Phase A has completely melted. Mix everything together thoroughly until it is well combined.

Remove from the heat and keep stirring until it has cooled down to 40 degrees.

Add the cooling phase. Pour in Phase C followed by D and E.

Stir until the mixture thickens into a lotion.

Put it in a jar. Let it cool down completely before putting the lid on and label your creation!

Scoop out some balm with a mini spatula or a spoon and rub it between the palms of your hands or apply it directly to your face. Gently massage in a circular motion until all the make-up and dirt has been removed. Wipe your face with a muslin cloth soaked in warm water.
