Instructions
Start by making yourself a lovely cup of tea and make sure your workspace is tidy and calm.
Put a thick-bottomed pan with a layer of water on the heat and hang a melting pan in it or place a measuring beaker in it.
Turn off the heat once your water boils.
Melt the coconut oil together with the menthol crystals in your measuring beaker or melting pan.
Once it has melted completely, add the MCT and Sesame Seed oil.
Now optionally add the activated charcoal to your mouthwash. You can also just leave it out if you do not want your mouthwash to turn black.
Let the oil mixture cool down to hand-warm (<40 degrees) and add your favourite Essential Oil from the list. If you click on an alternative ingredient, you will see the different options. You can also leave out the essential oil if you wish.
Now also add the Vitamin E Oil. This is important to counteract oxidation of the carrier oils and essential oils.
Put your bottle of home-made mouthwash in the bathroom next to your toothbrush and start this super healthy routine!
