Before you begin, set out a precision scale, 2 large measuring beakers, 1 small dish or small measuring beaker, a mini whisk, a glass stirring rod, a thermometer and a pH meter or pH strips.

Make sure you have disinfected all your tools before use.

Put a pan on the heat with boiling water and suspend a melting pan in it or place a heat-resistant measuring beaker in it.

Make a paste of the glycerine with the hyaluronic acid in a small dish/measuring beaker, and set it aside.

You are now going to start heating the oil and water phase. Both of these need to be heated to 70 degrees. You do this over a water bath with hot water.

Mix the shea butter, mango butter, jojoba oil and Olivem from Phase A in a large measuring beaker and heat .

At the same time, mix the niacinamide powder with the demi water in a separate large measuring beaker until it has completely dissolved and heat this as well.

When both mixtures have reached a temperature of 70 degrees, you can combine them.

Slowly pour the water phase into the oil phase while stirring continuously with a mini whisk or stirring rod to ensure a good emulsion.

Now add the glycerine with hyaluronic acid to the emulsion and stir well again.

Cool the mixture back down to 40 degrees while stirring and then add the vitamin E, the preservative and optionally the essential oil from Phase C.

Measure the pH of your cream by making a solution of 10% cream with 90% demi water. Insert your pH strip or pH meter into it. Make sure you get a pH between 5 and 6. Put the finished cream into a clean, airtight jar. Store in a cool, dry place. Label your creation.
