Instructions

Carefully measure all ingredients and have them ready before you start.

Set a small pot with a layer of water on the stove and bring it to a boil. Warm the Berry Wax and Myrica Fruit Wax together with the Shea Butter and Kokum Butter from phase A in a double boiler above it until completely melted.

Add the Jojoba Oil and Calendula Oil from phase B to the mixture and stir gently.

Let the mixture cool to below 40°C. To speed up cooling, you can stir the mixture briefly over an ice bath. Check the temperature in between.

Below 40 degrees, add phase C: the Rice Bran Oil, Chia Seed Oil, Vitamin E Oil and Vanilla CO2 Extract. Stir gently.

Continue cooling until you have a creamy substance that resembles vanilla custard.

Cut out a piece of baking paper to fit the size of the jar.

Place the balm in the refrigerator and cover it with the baking paper. Let it stand for 1 hour.

Remove the parchment paper after 1 hour and place the lid on. Let the jar set for at least 8 hours in the refrigerator (6-8 degrees).

Let the balm come to room temperature before using it. Store the balm in a dark, cool place. It will keep for a minimum of 2 years.
