Instructions

Make sure all the supplies are ready and that everything is clean. Wear a face mask to avoid inhaling dust particles from the surfactants.

Weigh out all the ingredients. Mix all the dry ingredients in Phase A (cationic guar gum, SCI powder, hydrolysed wheat protein, white clay).

Mix all the liquid ingredients in Phase B (Cocamidopropyl Betaine, sweet almond oil, D-Panthenol, vitamin E, essential oil). Stir well and set it aside.

Use a sieve to refine the powders in Phase A while transferring them into a mixing bowl. Mix well.

Combine Phase A (cationic guar gum, SCI powder, hydrolysed wheat protein, white clay) and Phase B (Cocamidopropyl Betaine, sweet almond oil, D-Panthenol, vitamin E, essential oil) in the mixing bowl.

Mix everything well with a spatula.

Put on a pair of gloves and use your hands to mix all the phases together well. This is similar to kneading a dough.

Use a spatula to scrape the mixing bowl clean and take along as much as possible of the remaining ingredients.

Shape the bar with your hands or use a mould.

Let it cure for 2 to 3 days on a rack at room temperature before using it. This can be, for example, on your kitchen counter or in a room where children cannot reach it.

Usage

Wet your hair and the shampoo bar. Rub the bar between your hands or directly into your hair. Massage it well into your scalp and over the lengths of your hair. Then rinse thoroughly. Store the bar in a dry place to extend its lifespan.
