"Back to Reality" is a soy wax candle with Sweet Orange, Frankincense and Peppermint Essential Oils. The candle gives off a refreshing citrus aroma, while the warm tones of Frankincense promote a sense of serenity. The addition of Peppermint enhances concentration and reduces fatigue. Perfect, then, if your head is still in the south of France!

Weigh the Soy Wax and heat it au bain-marie in a heat-resistant measuring jug.

In a small measuring jug, weigh the Essential Oils and combine them.

Remove the melted Soy Wax from the pan and let it cool to

Add the Essential Oils to the melted Soy Wax below 40 °C and stir until everything is well combined. Tip: Would you like the candle a little stronger? Then increase the total of the Essential Oil from 4% to a maximum of 6%.

Pour the mixture below 37 °C into a glass jar and then place a candle wick in the centre. Does the wick not stay upright? Then try placing it between wooden sticks or a clothes peg.

Leave the candle to harden for at least 24-48 hours before lighting it.

After hardening, the wick can be trimmed to a length of 4 mm. Are you burning the candle for the first time? Then let the candle wax melt all the way to the edges. This keeps your candle looking nice.
