More about orange blossom water

Orange blossom water is especially known for its amazing scent and for that reason alone is already a must have. Besides that, it's also a lovely water to use as a toner or as a face and body mist.

Orange blossom water is a byproduct of the production of orange blossom (neroli) essential oil and supports your skin's healing capacity. Somewhat stronger in effect than rose water and due to its astringent properties it closes the pores and helps reduce oily skin and pimples. If you have dry skin, it's best to mix orange blossom water with a little rose water.

Use

Orange blossom water is best used pure on your skin, or mixed with a little rose water if your skin is on the dry side. Use it for example after cleansing your face as a toner or in your hair for a wonderfully scented mane. You can of course also use orange blossom water in DIY lotions, masks, soap or shampoo instead of regular water. Tip: for extra hydration mix a little bit of glycerine through orange blossom water to retain extra moisture on the skin.
