What is CocoFoam (SCI) Needles?

CocoFoam needles (SCI) Needles belong to the anionic surfactants, also called surfactants. Simply put, this means that CocoFoam needles (SCI) is a cleansing agent, which easily loosens sebum, dead skin cells, sweat and other dirt. Due to its milder action, it is often used as a replacement for "more aggressive" cleansers like SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) or SCS (Sodium Coco Sulfate). CocoFoam needles (SCI) is also sulfate free, and your hair loves that!

Difference Needles or Powder

CocoFoam (SCI) can look like needles or like powder. The needle form is handy because you can easily weigh them. Plus, needles dust less, so the product is less likely to affect your lungs. Still, we strongly recommend wearing a face mask or dust mask when using this product!

The powder looks more like very fine sand. This is sometimes used when a product is made that needs to dissolve very quickly in water or when we want it to have a very soft texture. Whatever form is used, they actually do the same thing: they help make your skin clean and soft, and which form is best depends on what kind of soap or shampoo is being made.

Tips for sensitive skin

Although products with CocoFoam (SCI) are safe to use, it can be irritating to your skin just like other cleansing agents. It can also sting when it gets in your eyes.

Does your skin feel tight after using a shampoo or soap? Then there's a good chance your skin is sensitive to this product. Don't use cleansing products too often, not in too large quantities and rinse thoroughly.
