No BS Deo

Now make this wonderful, refreshing deodorant yourself that protects for 24 hours, is 100% natural and contains no baking soda. It is super easy to make and contains no harmful ingredients. The zinc ricinoleate, magnesium hydroxide and arrowroot powder are together fantastic sweat absorbers and reduce nasty smells. The combination of berry wax, myrica fruit wax and mango butter makes this deo easy to spread, nourishing and 100% vegan. Together with the wonderful scent of bergamot, sage and vanilla CO2, which are also a star at masking smells, you'll have nice-smelling armpits again!

Bring water to the boil in a heavy-bottomed pan and place a tea glass or measuring cup in it, or hang a melting pan in it.

Melt the berry wax, myrica fruit wax and zinc ricinoleate in a melting pan au bain-marie.

Once it has melted, add the mango butter. Let it melt completely.

Then add the jojoba oil and stir well. Does this make it set? Then heat it very briefly to make the lumps disappear.

Then add the arrowroot powder and magnesium hydroxide bit by bit. It is sensible to pass it through a fine (tea) strainer to prevent grains.

Should it start to set again, heat it briefly. After this you need to let the mixture cool back down before you add the essential oils.

Once the mixture is below 40 degrees you can add the rosemary antioxidant and the Fresh Balance blend.

Put your homemade deodorant in the fridge and let it harden for at least 2 hours.

Let the deo come to room temperature before you apply it.
