The effects of evening primrose

Evening primrose originally comes from Central America and was widely used by the Indians because of its special effects. The golden-colored oil from the seeds of evening primrose has a unique content of essential unsaturated fatty acids, particularly gamma-linolenic acid. Gamma-linolenic acid has a purifying and skin-supporting effect. Evening primrose oil is therefore a very fine oil to use for impurities. Furthermore, evening primrose oil improves the elasticity and cell structure of the skin and hair, ideal for preventing premature skin aging and giving your skin and hair a boost!

How do I use evening primrose oil?

Use evening primrose oil after showering or cleansing the skin, preferably in the evening, so that the oil can do its work optimally at night - when your skin is busy repairing - and you wake up with nourished and smooth skin.

Distribute a little of the oil over your face and body and pay extra attention where needed (wrinkles, pimples and dry spots). Optionally add a maximum of 1% essential oil for a lovely scent and to enhance the effect. In between, the oil can always be applied to dry spots during the day.

Evening primrose oil can also be used as a hair and scalp mask. Distribute the oil through your hair and over your scalp and massage well. Then wash your hair as usual with shampoo and enjoy a healthier and softer head of hair!
