Make sure all your tools and equipment are ready and that everything is clean.

Put your stove and pan with a cm of water on medium heat if you do not have a hot plate.

Weigh out all your ingredients. Combine each phase in a separate heat-resistant measuring cup.

Note the weight of Phase B, including the container, so that we can top up the evaporated water after heating.

Heat Phase A until the Biosmooth has completely melted. Stir to melt all the materials evenly.

Once Phase A has completely melted, start heating Phase B in the same pan.

Once Phase B is 70 degrees Celsius, weigh and top up the evaporated water until you reach the desired weight you noted earlier. You can add a little extra water at the start so that you do not lose as much when it begins to evaporate.

Check the temperature. Both should be 75 degrees Celsius or at least no more than 5 degrees Celsius apart.

Pour Phase B into Phase A and mix with a stick blender. Pulse for 5-10 seconds or until it turns white, which indicates that the mixture has emulsified.

Turn off the heat, but leave the measuring cup in the pan.

Stir for 5 minutes and then remove the cup from the pan. Stir until it cools down.

Once the temperature is 40 degrees Celsius, start adding the cooling phase. Start with Phase C, followed by D and E.

Mix gently until you reach room temperature.

Measure the pH. Use an acid such as lactic acid solution to lower the pH or a base such as sodium bicarbonate solution to raise it until you reach the desired pH of 4.0 to 4.5.

Put it into a jar or a pump bottle and label your creation.

Usage

After washing your hair, apply a generous amount of conditioner. Use your fingers or a wide-tooth comb to gently detangle your hair. Let the conditioner soak in for about 3 minutes and then rinse it out thoroughly.
