Instructions
Make yourself a nice cup of tea or a goldenmilk and make sure you are working in a calm, tidy space.
Fill a thick-bottomed pan with water and put it on the heat.
Place a measuring beaker in it or hang a melting pan in it.
Weigh out all your ingredients before you start.
Start by melting the Shea Butter. Do this in a slow way. Shea Butter does not like to be made very hot.
Once the Shea Butter has melted, take the measuring beaker/melting pan out of the water and turn off the heat.
Now add the Jojoba and Castor Oil and stir.
Now you are going to cool the mixture back down while stirring. This gives the cream cleanser a soft, creamy texture. You can do this by hanging it over an ice bath, or by putting it in the refrigerator at intervals and stirring.
Once the mixture is at the temperature of your hand, you can add the blend of essential oils. Stir these in well.
Spoon your cream cleanser into an amber-coloured jar to protect it against UV and heat and stick a nice label on it.
Usage
Make yourself a nice cup of goldenmilk and settle in comfortably. Apply a generous dollop of your home-made cream cleanser to the face and leave it on for 5-10 minutes. Then remove it with a warm damp cloth. I personally like to use a hydrophilic cloth for this, but a washcloth works too. With weekly cleansing you will notice that, thanks to the turmeric, your skin radiates more and more and gets a beautiful glow.
