Bring water to the boil in a heavy-bottomed pan or use a hotplate.

Heat Phase A until the Greenfoam Needles have completely dissolved and a smooth paste forms. Remove from the heat.

Put your measuring cup back in the pan of boiling water or on the hotplate. Stir the combined Phase A and B until the paste has completely dissolved.

Cool the mixture back down to 40 degrees and then add Phase D and E. Mix everything together thoroughly.

Now you are going to thicken the mixture with salt. Use fine sea salt for this. In this recipe you may add a maximum of 2% of the total weight in salt. In this case that is 2 grams. Add the salt little by little in small increments of 0.3 to 0.5 grams. Let the mixture rest between stirring. The mixture should now have thickened; if this is not the case, you have probably added too much and you will have to start again.
