What is Tapioca Flour?
Tapioca flour is a fine, white powder made from the starch of the root of the cassava plant (Manihot esculenta), a tropical crop commonly found in South America, Africa and Asia.

How do you use Tapioca Flour?
Tapioca flour provides a soft skin feel, reduces a sticky or greasy finish from oils and butters and helps regulate excess sebum.
Therefore it is very suitable for:
Creams and body butters: makes the formula less greasy and absorbs faster.
Deodorants: absorbs sweat and improves spreadability.
Powders and makeup: as filler or fixing ingredient for a matte look.
Dry shampoos: refreshes hair without water.
Tapioca flour is not soluble in water or oil. It remains present as powder in the formula and must be well distributed to prevent lumps.
