Orange blossom water is especially known for its wonderful scent and is a must-have for that reason alone. Additionally, it's also a lovely water to use as a toner or as a face and body mist.

Orange blossom water is a by-product of the production of orange blossom (neroli) essential oil and supports your skin's regenerative capacity. It is somewhat stronger than rose water and has an astringent effect, which makes it suitable for oily and impure skin. If you have dry skin, it's best to mix orange blossom water with a little rose water.

Usage

Orange blossom water is best used pure on your skin, or mixed with a little rose water if your skin is on the dry side. Use it for example after cleansing your face as a toner or in your hair for a wonderfully fragrant look. Of course, you can also use orange blossom water in DIY lotions, masks, soap or shampoo instead of plain water. Tip: for extra hydration, mix a small amount of glycerine through orange blossom water to retain extra moisture on the skin.
