The zinc ricinoleate, magnesium hydroxide and arrowroot powder are together fantastic sweat absorbers and reduce nasty smells. The combination of berry wax, myrica fruit wax and mango butter makes this deo easy to spread, nourishing and 100% vegan. Together with the wonderful scent of bergamot, sage and vanilla CO2, which are also a star at masking smells, you'll have nice-smelling armpits again!

Myrica Fruit Was

Also called Bayberry, it is a vegan alternative to beeswax. It gives the deodorant a silky texture and a luxurious spreadability. It also forms a thin film layer on the skin, protecting it from external influences.

Berry Was

As a co-emulsifier, Berry Wax ensures that the butters, oils, and powders in the deodorant blend excellently with each other. Additionally, it gives the deodorant a rich yet powdery skin feel.

Zinc ricinoleate

This is a natural ingredient that effectively removes (unpleasant) odors. Zinc ricinoleate provides at least 24 hours of protection, is gentle on the armpits, and a perfect alternative to Baking Soda.

Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil slows down sebum production, making it ideal for people with oily skin. This is because the composition of Jojoba closely resembles the sebum produced by our skin.

Mango Butter

The butter is rich in antioxidants and cares for rough and chapped skin. This butter is also unique because it greatly helps to purify the skin.

Deodorant powder

This powder consists of an ultra-fine form of Magnesium Hydroxide and Magnesium Carbonate Hydroxide. They are heroes in absorbing sweat and ensuring pleasantly dry armpits. Additionally, they increase the pH of the deodorant, which ensures a long-lasting reduction of body odors.

Arrowroot Powder

Rosemary extract

What is a DIY Package?

DIY means "Do it Yourself" and a DIY Kit contains ingredients, tools, and instructions to make something yourself.

What is the difference between this DIY kit and your previous DIY kits?

This DIY Kit has the exact quantities measured for making a precise number of items. You no longer need to calculate this yourself based on the recipe, we've already done that for you. Our previous DIY kits were bundles of raw materials that you had to weigh yourself.

I don't have a lab at home, is this for me?

We have made the package so that you only need tools you already have at home, such as a glass, a spoon, and a pot of water. Easy, right?

Why should I buy a DIY kit instead of making the recipe?

This package contains precisely filled test tubes, which means you never make too much or too little. It is a nice way to test this product first and make your first cosmetics without risk.

How do you come to 24-hour long protection?

We tested the deodorant under different conditions, with our team, friends, family, and our test panel. This was not a scientific test, but almost everyone indicated that it worked for at least 24 hours.

Some mentioned they went up to 4 days without showering without reapplying (sorry, too much information). For our pregnant colleagues, it sometimes helped less well with hormonal sweat.

Can I also add my own scent?

Certainly, instead of the Fresh Balance Blend, you could also add your favorite essential oil (blend) as a fragrance. However, it might not have the exact same effect as the original because sage has certain properties that reduce odors.

If you want to add your own scent, make sure not to add more than 0.6 grams of essential oil to the deodorant cans that are included, to prevent any potential allergic reaction.

Why is there no Baking Soda in this deodorant and is there Magnesium Hydroxide?

Although both Baking Soda and Magnesium Hydroxide are basic, they have a different effect on the skin. Magnesium Hydroxide remains more on the surface, does not dissolve, and changes the pH of the skin less.

Baking soda increases the local pH on the skin, is easily absorbed, and can, upon contact with moisture and oils, cause a quicker reaction that irritates the skin.

The low solubility and larger particles of Magnesium Hydroxide make it much milder and friendlier to the skin than Baking Soda.

Is it easy to make?

Yes! This package is suitable for the beginner DIY'er and very easy to make. You'll be done in just 10 minutes and you don't need any special tools.

Can I reuse the packaging from this package?

Certainly! The cans can be cleaned and reused. The bags can also be reused, they have a resealable strip.

You can reuse the test tubes by putting cuttings in them with water or seeds in soil. You hang them using the magnets that are included. Fun, right!

What should I do with the magnets?

Why did you choose these essential oils?

The Fresh Balance blend is specially designed for underarm use. This blend consists of Sage, Bergamot, and Vanilla.

The star of this blend is Sage, this essential oil has been researched for its antimicrobial properties, which contributes to the odor-resistant effect of the deodorant.

Studies have shown that Sage is effective against certain bacteria and fungi, which can help control odor-causing microorganisms on the skin. Moreover, Sage has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which may contribute to improving skin health and reducing skin irritations.
