Amazonian Body Butter

The scent of Palo Santo and Cardamom warms your heart as you apply this body butter. The body butter is made with a delicious base of Shea Butter that keeps it lovely and airy. Cupuaçu butter is a relative of Cocoa Butter, which is also hidden in this body butter. Both are wonderfully nourishing for very dry and mature skin. Krappa Oil gives this body butter its caring properties, and Sacha Inchi Oil restores rough, dry skin and reduces flaking and red patches. This recipe fills a 250 ml jar, so you can enjoy it for a long time. Treat yourself, or give it as a gift to someone you love.

Instructions

1
Carefully measure all ingredients and have them ready before you start.
2
Set a small pot with a layer of water on the stove and bring it to a boil. Warm the Shea Butter, Cupuaçu Butter and Cacao Butter from phase A in a double boiler above it and stir well until all butters are melted.
3
Add the Krappa/Andiroba Oil from phase B to the melted butter mixture. Allow the mixture to cool further to below 40 degrees.
4
When the mixture is below 40 degrees, you can add the ingredients from phase C that are sensitive to heat: the Sacha Inchi Oil and the Vitamin E Oil. Stir the mixture well again.
5
Place the mixture in the refrigerator and let it set until it has the consistency of butter. Remove it from the fridge and loosen it a little with a spoon. If the butter is very hard, let it sit for about 10 minutes.
6
Mix with an electric mixer or whisk until a soft, fluffy texture forms. Don't worry about overbeating, it's not whipped cream. Add phase D last, the Palo Santo, Cardamom and Myrrh Essential Oil, and give the mixer a final spin.
7
Apply a generous amount to your entire body. Let the scent of Palo Santo enchant you and the ingredients from the Amazon pamper your skin. In principle, the body butter can also be used on the face, though for those with impure skin this may not be the best choice as the cocoa butter can potentially cause congestion.

Usage

Apply this delightful body butter to your body daily and massage it in well. The creamy body butter melts into your skin and feels wonderful. Protects, cares for and hydrates your skin!
