Not just delicious in the kitchen

We know sunflower oil mainly as oil for the kitchen, but this oil really comes into its own on your skin! It is one of the most used oils as a base for natural lotions, due to its many good properties.

The Indians used oil from sunflower seeds for skin and hair thousands of years ago and discovered its beneficial effects.

The oil is incredibly rich in vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that helps protect your skin against harmful external influences and thus helps prevent premature skin aging. Vitamin E also helps fade small scars and fine lines.

Sunflower oil is a somewhat lighter oil and therefore doesn't feel so heavy, but still effectively helps retain moisture on the skin and soften the skin.

Use

Use sunflower oil pure on your skin, as a carrier oil for your favorite essential oil, or mix it into a DIY lotion or cream.

Preferably apply to cleansed skin so it can absorb optimally and do its work.
