What is Solagum™ AX?

Solagum Ax is a natural thickening and stabilizing agent. It is a combination of Acacia gum (from Africa) and Xanthan gum (from Europe). Together these ingredients provide thickening and stabilizing for your DIY. Solagum is made through a spray drying process that combines the two ingredients. This is an efficient method to convert liquid ingredients into a fine, dry powder. This allows Solagum Ax to dissolve easily in water and distribute evenly through your product, without lumps or a sticky feeling.

How do you use Solagum Ax?

Add 0.5-2% Solagum Ax to your DIY, depending on the product you are making:

• 0.5% for light gels and serums
• 1-2% for creams and lotions or to stabilize emulsions

A small amount is already enough to give your product a beautiful texture and long-lasting stability. Solagum Ax is stable within pH range of 3 to 12, making it suitable for many DIY creations!
