What is Coconut Wax?

Coconut wax is a natural wax made from coconut oil. The oil is extracted from coconut flesh and processed into a solid, creamy wax with excellent burning properties.

The color is off-white to cream-colored. The texture is soft and creamy. The scent is mild and lightly coconut-like, but remains subtle in the background so that added fragrances come into their own beautifully.

How do you use Coconut Wax?

Container candles: Melt au bain marie until completely liquid. Use pure or blend with other waxes for more hardness. Consult the technical specifications for the correct pouring temperature.

Scented candles: Add fragrance oil or essential oil at the recommended temperature and stir gently. Let cool slowly for the best scent throw.

Blending: Combine with soy wax for a harder candle, or with beeswax for a longer burn time. Experiment with ratios to find the perfect texture.

Tip: Let candles cure for at least 48 hours before first use. This gives the scent time to bind well to the wax.
