What is Ethyl Ascorbic Acid?
Ethyl ascorbic acid is a stabilized and powerful form of vitamin C. Due to the way it is processed, it remains stable much longer than regular ascorbic acid, which can quickly lose its effectiveness. Due to its unique structure, it is water-soluble, easily absorbed by the skin and proven effective in reducing signs of aging, such as fine lines and unevenness.
What are the benefits of Ethyl Ascorbic Acid?
Protects the skin
Ethyl Ascorbic Acid protects skin cells against damage from free radicals and helps keep the skin healthy and radiant.
Evens the skin
This variant of Vitamin C helps effectively in fading dark scars, age spots and pigmentation. With regular use for 2-3 months, the skin becomes visibly more even.
Firms the skin
Ethyl Ascorbic Acid stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, two important proteins that keep the skin firm, elastic and young. It also helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
How do you use Ethyl Ascorbic Acid?
The recommended dosage is 0.5-2%, depending on the desired effect. Ethyl Ascorbic Acid is water-soluble and must be added to the water phase of your formula. Mix thoroughly until it is completely dissolved. Ensure that the finished product has a pH value between 4 and 6. This is the ideal range in which Ethyl Ascorbic Acid remains effective and is suitable for the skin.
