Calendula CO2-to Extract is made from the calendula flower (calendula officinalis) and is similar to an essential oil. Through high pressure, without heat, a beautiful extract is obtained from these cheerful flowers. The result is an Extract full of active substances, including myristic acid, palmitic acid and carotenoids.

How do you use it?
Calendula CO2-to Extract is highly concentrated, making it important to always mix the extract with a carrier oil such as Jojoba Oil or Sweet Almond Oil. You can also use the Extract as an ingredient in DIY skincare products. It is important that your finished product consists of no more than 10% Calendula CO2-to Extract.
At lower temperatures the Extract may solidify. Then slowly warm the bottle in a layer of warm water (not too hot) to make the Extract liquid again.

Calendula flowers have been used for years and years because of their healing properties: from oils to infusions and from tinctures to ointments. The beautiful orange flowers are also used as natural dye for fabrics and you can even eat the organic flowers (due to its strong concentration, this CO2-to Extract is not intended for consumption).
