What is Sodium Lactate?

How do you use Sodium Lactate?

Face: Use 1-2% in the water phase of serums, gels or creams. Check the pH and keep it around 4.5-5.5.

Body: Use 2-4% in body lotion or hand cream.

Hair: Use 0.5-2% in shampoo or conditioner. Add to the water phase and check the pH.

Soap: Use 0.5-3% of the oil weight and add to the cooled lye solution, not directly to the oils.

Tip: Combine with glycerin for extra hydration with a lighter, more comfortable skin feel.
