What is Bioquat?

Bioquat is the ingredient that makes your hair soft and manageable. It is a quaternary ammonium compound, or 'quat' for short, based on sunflower oil. The positive charge attaches itself to your hair, which is naturally negatively charged. This makes your hair less static and easier to comb, helps it retain moisture better, and gives it more shine.

It is a colorless, viscous liquid with an amber color that dissolves in water.
