What is Aleppo Soap?

The history of Aleppo Soap goes back more than a thousand years and has its origins in Aleppo, a city in the northwest of Syria. Aleppo Soap contains no chemical additives, colourings or preservatives. The only ingredients of Aleppo Soap are organic olive oil and organic laurel berry oil in varying proportions.

Typically, Aleppo Soap contains 2% to 40% organic laurel berry oil. The rest is organic olive oil. The more laurel berry oil Aleppo Soap contains, the more expensive the soap. This is because laurel berry oil is more costly than olive oil. Aleppo Soap is a 100% natural soap and can be used for the daily cleansing of your face and body.

Where does Aleppo Soap come from?

Aleppo Soap owes its name to the city where the soap was born; Aleppo in Syria. Thousands of years ago, Aleppo Soap was one of the most important trade goods of the city. The recipe and manufacturing method of Aleppo Soap have remained the same all these years, and the soap is still made in the traditional way today.

How is Aleppo Soap made?

Aleppo Soap has been made in the same traditional way since its origin. Each family uses its own recipe and manufacturing method, but what generally happens is that organic olive oil and organic laurel berry oil are mixed with lye and then heated until soap is formed.

The soap is poured into blocks, stamped with the soap maker's logo, and then dried for six to nine months. As the soap dries, the outside of the soap takes on a beautiful brown colour, while the inside remains deep green.

Why use Aleppo Soap?

Aleppo Soap is such a mild, hydrating and natural soap that it can be used for adults, but also for small children, babies and even pets. Aleppo Soap refreshes the skin, but does not dry it out. The natural soap is very popular because it has a powerful purifying and at the same time regenerating effect. Aleppo Soap cleanses your skin effectively and makes your skin soft and supple. Use Aleppo soap if you suffer from pimples and impurities.

Aleppo Soap for your hair?

You can use Aleppo Soap as a shampoo to wash your hair. Many commercial shampoos contain artificial additives and colourings that make your hair dry and dull. At first it will take some getting used to. Your hair will feel a bit stiff. This is because your hair needs to get used to the 100% natural shampoo. Give Aleppo Soap a few weeks and you will notice the difference.

Aleppo Soap for your teeth?

You can Aleppo Soap even use as toothpaste. The soapy taste does take some getting used to when you use Aleppo Soap as toothpaste, but you will be amazed by the result. Your teeth will be cleaner and become whiter. You will notice it after just a few weeks when you use Aleppo Soap for your teeth. Many people think that fluoride is needed in a toothpaste to clean and protect their teeth, but that is not true. Aleppo Soap is completely natural and cleans your teeth thoroughly.

What are the benefits of Aleppo Soap?

Using Aleppo soap has many benefits. The soap is 100% natural and contains only olive oil and laurel berry oil. Aleppo Soap helps to support your skin's restorative ability. Aleppo Soap helps with dry and chapped skin, pimples, impurities and premature skin ageing. You can use Aleppo Soap for various purposes; for your body, your face, your hair, your teeth, your clothes and even your pets.

Does Aleppo Soap help against pimples?

Do you suffer from pimples? Then use Aleppo Soap daily. Aleppo Soap has a purifying effect. Aleppo soap is a natural solution against pimples and can give better results than commercial products from the chemist. Aleppo Soap has a powerful cleansing and regenerating effect. If you suffer from impurities, use Aleppo Soap regularly. Aleppo soap purifies deep into the pores, so that they become clogged less quickly. Your skin is nourished, supported and regains its strength.

What colour is Aleppo Soap?

Aleppo Soap has a golden-brown colour on the outside and is a beautiful green on the inside. The brown colour develops during the drying of the Aleppo Soap. Because the soap is made in the traditional way and contains only natural ingredients, each bar of soap can have a slightly different colour and shape.
