Ready-made products for your natural routine..
Do you want to stay updated on offers, (giveaway) actions and recommendations? This way you won't miss out on anything! Not too often, we promise.

This is a question we are often asked. Because synthetic substances are involved in making it, we always used to answer that you could, for example, also use a Shea Butter as body care or another lovely oil.
But... we have recently started offering a natural emulsifier, namely Olivem 1000. With this you can make your own lotion! It blends water-based substances with oils, which creates a lotion. Would you like to make shampoo, conditioner, a face cream or a mascara, for example? You can do that with this emulsifier too. (Other DIY recipes are in the making!)
Because we are so pleased with this, I have a lovely DIY Body Lotion for you. I have been using it myself for a while now and I can tell you, my skin is loving it too! It is very simple and consists of just a few steps. I would also like to give you some information about the products that are used, as they are a number of lovely 'natural heroes' brought together!
50 grams Demineralised water
Is free of minerals and electrolytes that can affect other ingredients and ensures that no unnecessary bacteria end up in your DIY.
27 grams Sandalwood water (or your favourite hydrosol!)
Has a fresh, woody scent and soothes the skin. Sandalwood has been used for centuries for its beneficial properties.
5 grams Olivem 1000
Is made from olive oil and blends water-based substances and oil together. This gives you a spreadable lotion and a beautiful glow!
5 grams Sweet Almond Oil
Made from almonds, it is cold-pressed and packed with antioxidants and vitamins A and E. Softens your skin and keeps it nicely young!
10 grams Cupuaçu Butter
Comes from the Cupuaçu fruit and has an intensely hydrating effect. It softens the skin and leaves no greasy layer behind. Bursting with antioxidants and vitamins A and C.
3 grams Leucidal® SF Complete
This is a natural preservative and ensures that your DIY is protected against unwanted bacteria. In addition, it also has a moisturising effect and keeps your skin hydrated.
6 drops of your favourite essential oil (optional)
You can add your favourite essential oil if you want to give your body lotion a lovely scent. One of my favourites is lavender for example. Do bear in mind that certain citrus fruits (e.g. lemon, bergamot, etc.) are phototoxic and can cause a reaction when exposed to UV light.
2 grams Glycerine (optional)
Instead of 27 grams of Sandalwood water, you can use 25 grams of Sandalwood water and then 2 grams of Glycerine. This is obtained from vegetable oil (Rapeseed) and has a hydrating effect; it gives you smooth skin.
Step 1
Put Demineralised Water and Sandalwood water (and optionally: the Glycerine) into a pan. Heat this in a bain-marie and stir together.
Step 2
At the same time, do the same in another pan with the Cupuaçu Butter, Sweet Almond Oil and Olivem 1000. Melt this in a bain-marie too and stir until smooth.

Step 3
Once both pans are nicely warm and mixed, stir in the pan with the water-based products (Demineralised Water, Sandalwood water and optionally the Glycerine) into the pan with the oil-based products containing the Olivem 1000. Do this slowly and keep stirring well as you do so. This ensures that it can blend together gently. Note that, because of the heat, it can sometimes take a while before the products are properly mixed.
Step 4
Now add the Leucidal® SF Complete (and optionally: the drops of essential oil) to the blend and stir it through.
Step 5
When the liquids from both pans are well mixed together, finish off the whole thing with a stick blender. A lotion forms. You can also put it in a sealed jar and shake hard, or mix it with a whisk. It is important that it is really well mixed, as this prevents lumps.
Et voilà: your very own DIY Body Lotion on a natural basis! Lovely for after showering to pamper your body with. It absorbs well, yet nourishes intensely.
