A while ago I helped out for a day in production. In Utrecht, everything is done every day with a great deal of love to produce your products as well as possible.
From various countries, the best-selected oils, butters and other raw ingredients come to our production space in Utrecht. We try to select organic and unprocessed products as much as possible.
In the production space all the supplies are ready and waiting: glass jars, bottles, pouches, pipette caps, and of course the various oils, butters, waxes, powders and wonderfully scented essential oils. The filling can begin!
Everything is prepared for you by hand here. All the waxes, butters and (clay) powders are weighed out and packed into pouches. The oils go into glass bottles or jars. Next, a pipette cap or screw cap goes on. To finish it off, a lovely label is added of course, and the product is ready!

Because the products are completely natural, every batch will be slightly different. Each oil can vary a little in colour, scent and appearance!
Not all products can be filled very easily. The Shea butter, for example, first has to be brought to room temperature in a large kettle. That way the Shea butter becomes liquid again and we can fill these jars too!
Once enough stock has been filled again, it is brought to a warehouse where order processing takes place. Here the products are carefully and sustainably packed and shipped… perhaps even to you?
Personal care products that you buy at the chemist or pharmacy are packed full of synthetic substances, such as parabens, silicones, colourants and fragrance. These substances can irritate the skin, but can also be very harmful to your body. Parabens, for example, can disrupt your hormones. Synthetic substances build up in your body and are harmful to the environment. Every synthetic substance can be very easily replaced with natural products.
Making products yourself is great fun and also very easy. On top of that, you know exactly which ingredients are in your cream and you can adapt your DIY creation to your skin type and wishes! Of course you can also use most products neat on the skin.
