Not just delicious in the kitchen

We know sunflower oil mainly as a kitchen oil, but this oil really comes into its own on your skin! It is one of the most used oils as a base for natural lotions, because of its many beneficial properties.

The Native Americans used oil from sunflower seeds thousands of years ago for skin and hair and discovered its beneficial effects.

The oil is incredibly rich in vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that helps protect your skin against harmful external influences and thus helps prevent premature skin aging. Vitamin E also helps fade fine lines.

Sunflower oil is a somewhat lighter oil and therefore doesn't feel as heavy, but it does help effectively retain moisture on the skin and soften it.

Usage

Use sunflower oil pure on your skin, as a carrier oil for your favorite essential oil, or mix it into a DIY lotion or cream.

Preferably apply it to cleansed skin so it can absorb optimally and do its work.
