Pure alcohol is too strong for the skin, which is why it is not recommended to use it as a skin cleanser. If it appears in small amounts in care products because it has been used as a solvent, for example, that is fine and you don't need to worry.

Usable as a solvent

Isopropyl Alcohol can be used as a solvent for certain ingredients. Essential oils, for example, are not water-soluble but are alcohol-soluble. Many plant extracts are also added as alcohol extracts to care products (in the form of a tincture).

How do you use it?

Use Isopropyl Alcohol as an ingredient in cleaning products or in small amounts in care products. In care products, do not let Isopropyl Alcohol make up more than 2% of the total ingredients. You can also use it to make your own nail polish remover or other cleaners. Always dilute it with at least 25% water for these products as well.

It is not possible to use Isopropyl Alcohol as an ingredient in combination with Xanthan Gum.

Note: Isopropyl Alcohol , including the vapor it emits, is slightly flammable. Never use a heat source when working with this product and always work in a well-ventilated area. It is recommended to wear protective gloves and eye protection. In case of ingestion, contact with the eyes, or prolonged exposure, consult a doctor.
