Why is activated charcoal so good?
Activated charcoal is a versatile and special ingredient. It is made from coconut shells which are heated to create charcoal, after which oxygen is added. Because the individual pieces are so ultra fine (this is called micro-porosity), the activated charcoal is able to absorb hundreds of different substances from your skin.
The result? An effective remedy that you can use for cleansing your skin and whitening your teeth.
Use
The Activated Charcoal Powder lends itself very well to making a wonderful and effective face mask. To reduce impurities, mix the activated charcoal with gentle coconut oil, a clay mask or aloe vera gel. Apply it with a brush and paint a thin layer on your face, or apply it gently with your fingertips. Rinse it off after about 10 minutes once it has dried. The result: soft, deeply cleansed skin.
