Description
What is Vanilla Oleoresin?
The cozy scent of Vanilla gives a feeling of warmth and welcome. An Oleoresin is also called Oleoresin. These are extracted from the vanilla by adding a solvent to the Vanilla (ethyl alcohol). This solution is then evaporated and the Oleoresin remains. Vanilla Oleoresin is comparable to an essential oil and obtained from the pods of the flowers of the Vanilla Planifolia plant. The Vanilla Oleoresin has a rich, warm scent. The scent of Vanilla has a calming effect and ensures that you can relax wonderfully.
How do you use Vanilla Oleoresin?
DIY Body Cream
Add 0.5-1% Vanilla Oleoresin to your DIY body cream for a warm scent.
Please note: Vanilla Oleoresin is soluble in water or alcohol (not in oil). Add Vanilla Oleoresin to the water phase of your formula.
Do you want to add a vanilla scent to your oil mixture? Then use Vanilla CO2 Extract.
If you want to make Essential oil blends, this is not possible with Vanilla Oleoresin but it is with Vanilla CO2.
You can use Vanilla Oleoresin in combination with solid butters and waxes, for example in a solid bar. You will then get black specks in your bar (just like there's a fresh vanilla stick in it). This is then more decoratively intended. The scent is also very nice then.
