Rose geranium is a beautiful flower with a delightful rosy scent, making this
essential oil ideal as a relaxant. The shrub is also called lemon geranium because the flowers have both the sultry scent of roses and the freshness of lemon. Thanks to this fantastic combination, the oil works both soothingly and uplifting, making it a pleasant scent to inhale.
Rose geranium oil has a skin-restorative effect and can be used to reduce blemishes and calm irritated skin. If you quickly get irritated skin from shaving or epilating, rose geranium essential oil has a nourishing effect and helps restore your skin.
Use
Always dilute essential oil when using on your skin in a carrier oil or butter, such as almond or jojoba oil, and use no more than 1% (1ml essential oil per 100ml carrier oil).
Apply the oil where needed on cleansed skin. For use on an oily scalp and hair (or simply because it smells wonderful) you can also add a few drops of rose geranium essential oil to your shampoo.
To inhale the essential oil or use it as an air freshener, use it in an oil lamp/diffuser or a scent brick. To use the essential oil in a bath, mix a few drops of rose geranium oil with a neutral bath gel or bath oil.
