What is Solumix?

Solumix is a natural solubilizer that clearly disperses lipophilic ingredients – such as Essential Oils, fragrance concentrates and aromatic extracts – in water. The base consists of caprylyl/capryl glucoside and polyglyceryl esters from plant-based Raw Materials, including babassu oil. The result is a light yellow, clear liquid with a subtle, soft scent that is barely noticeable.

Solumix is completely water-soluble, non-ionic and very skin-friendly. It supports the skin barrier by not having aggressive cleansing action and helps Essential Oils distribute evenly, preventing "hot spots". This promotes comfort and reduces the chance of sensitivity reactions.

How do you use Solumix?

General: First mix Solumix with your perfume or Essential Oil. Then slowly add water and stir gently. Let stand for 12–24 hours for complete clarity.

Micellar water: 2–5.5%

Shampoo/body wash: 3–10%

Roll-on/wipes: 0.8–4.5%

Conditioner/hair mask: 0.3–1% (for Scent dispersion)

Perfumes: Start with a solubilizer:oil ratio of 3:1 to 6:1 and refine until the mix is completely clear.

Always work within pH 5.5–7.5 and preserve aqueous formulas. Preferably store in a glass, dark bottle.
