What is Orange Blossom?

Orange Blossom comes from the blossom of the bitter orange tree, the Citrus Aurantium. These dried Orange Blossom petals are 100% natural, without additives. What is so special about Orange Blossom?

Long ago, the bitter orange came from very far away. This orange fruit originally comes from China and became known in the Netherlands in the 17th century as the Chinese apple. The royal House of Orange had many of these beautiful orange trees in their palace gardens. In summer they bloomed abundantly, and in winter they were placed in warm greenhouses (orangeries). The bitter oranges were also called the apples of Orange. Orange Blossom has not lost its royal status to this day.
